Come in
45 Insadong-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul 03146
Finding the door
We sit on Insadong-gil in Jongno-gu, a short walk from Anguk Station (Line 3). Look for the tea-green sign reading Paperlane Goods above a narrow shopfront. The window usually shows a stack of notebooks and a small card stand — if the blind is half-down, we are still open; it keeps afternoon sun off the paper.
Buses along Jong-ro and Insadong also stop nearby. Taxis can drop you at the lane entrance; walking the last stretch is easier than navigating delivery vans at peak hours.
What to expect inside
The shop is one room with a front table, wall shelves, and a wrapping counter at the back. You are welcome to handle notebooks gently and test pens on the scrap pad. Please ask before opening sealed ink bottles or letterpress packs.
We accept cash (KRW) and major cards. Large group tours that block the aisle may be asked to browse in smaller clusters so other customers can reach the shelves.
Hours & quiet times
Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00–20:00. Mondays we restock and clean. Public holidays may shorten hours — call ahead if you are travelling specifically for a gift wrap deadline. Weekday early afternoons are usually quieter than weekend evenings.
